Our team is made up of dedicated educators and parents who are committed to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities and those who support them. We believe everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to participate fully in their community. By working together, we provide meaningful experiences that foster connection, growth, and a true sense of belonging for individuals and their families, friends and supporters.
He is a devoted husband, father, friend and teacher. He believes that there is value in everyone and collaboration is the key to success. His core mission is to normalize everyday experiences for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Ed Gonzalez has over 10 years of experience in education with a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Masters degree in Arts and Education.

Antonia has been a Paraeducator for over six years at different school districts including San Francisco and Sacramento. She enjoys a great career as a Behavior Technician 1, and trainer for northern Sacramento region.

In both of her roles, she has been honored to work in the Special Education Department. Antonia’s motto is, “Their can be joy in even the smallest accomplishments!”
Stacia has over 20 years of teaching experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a Masters degree in Special Education. She has credentials in Administrative services, Extensive support needs and Mild to Moderate support needs, in addition to being a life long girl scout.

Wendy is an autism advocate and most importantly, Leo’s mom. Inspired by their experiences as Leo’s parents and by seeing the impact that inclusive, supportive experiences can have on families, Wendy and her husband, Ed, co-founded Kindness Culture with the hope of creating welcoming spaces where individuals with disabilities and support needs can connect, make lasting memories, and experience the joy of community.

Today, Wendy helps bring Kindness Culture’s mission to life by overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations, planning events, building community partnerships, supporting volunteers, and creating meaningful experiences for local families. Her family knows her as the planner, the one who always has a timeline, checklist, or color-coded plan ready. She loves organizing the details behind each event so that families can focus on making memories together.
When she’s not working on Kindness Culture, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and her pets, reading thriller books, traveling and planning her family’s next Universal Studios adventure.
Leo loves books, streamers, movies, animals, theme parks, Dutch Bros and electronics. He is so tech-savvy and smart that it doesn’t take him long to learn new skills. His favorite characters are Mario, the minions and Sonic the Hedgehog.
As an autistic child and AAC communicator, Leo has shown our family the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed, understood and included. Leo doesn’t vote on board decisions… but if he did, every meeting would include books, cheeseburgers, a fireplace on the Youtube and a trip to Universal Studios.
Leo is a fun loving, nonverbal child with autism. Leo communicates with an AAC device and he has an amazing sense of humor. His laugh is the best because it is so pure and genuine, and it is infectious to where everyone in the room wants to laugh alongside with him.
